WHY CHOOSE US? The Centre for Race and Culture (CRC) has worked throughout Alberta for close to 20 years to address racism in all its forms. The CRC is Alberta’s premier and most active organization that works specifically against racism and towards equity. Our reach is wide and constantly expanding.
Last year alone our programs directly reached over 10,000 people-- including youth, adults, individuals, companies, and organizations at all levels of society.

Educate youth on social justice, anti-racism, and conflict transformation while teaching them how to teach their peers

Provide one-on-one mentorship of Aboriginal and Refugee students on how to best overcome the barriers they face
Empower the next generation of diverse leaders though our leadership academies for African- Canadian and Aboriginal youth
Develop important resources to help teachers create more equitable learning environments for our children
Provide professional development for adults on how to effectively manage increasingly diverse workplaces and on the immigrant experience to Canada
Host community events, lectures, and film screenings to spark change in Albertans
